This Matchless 1.5-inch x 8.5-inch, flameless LED taper candle is dipped in real ivory colored paraffin wax and features a 5-hour timer that can turn the candle “on” and “off” at the same time every day. The candle is unscented and is perfect for those who have allergies or are sensitive to scents. The candle is remote ready and has a built-in receiver for the optional multi-function hand-held remote control (sold separately). Pushing the button on the bottom of the candle turns it either “on” or “off”, and pushing and holding the button until the candles blinks once puts it in the 5-hour timer mode. When the candle is "on", the hand-held remote control feature is active. When the candle is in the “timer” mode, it will automatically turn “on” for 5-hours and then turn “off” for 19-hours. The candle will remain “on” for 5-hours from the time that the candles is placed in the “timer” mode. The candle will repeat the same daily cycle until the timer is reset which is accomplished by turning the candle "off” and then putting the candle back in the “timer” mode at the desired “on” time. Since this candle is dipped in real wax, it is recommended for use indoors or outside in cool, shady areas. Runs on 2 x AA batteries (sold separately) and has a run time of up to 150-hours (alkaline batteries).
