The overall quality of our battery eliminator kit is pretty good.  However, the one flaw is that the terminal on the plus end is so small that it fits inside the spring that forms the contact on the fountain.  So the spring didn't make good contact with the eliminator until I modified it some by bending.  This worked out ok, but I really didn't want to modify the spring in case I had to put the batteries back in.

The 3 x C Battery Eliminator Kit is exactly what I was needing for my Christmas display! It was literally using batteries up on a weekly basis!! The cost of the batteries were way more than the price of the eliminator kit. I can highly recommend going this route on anything battery powered that can be converted to electric!
