Same great moving flame action as Luminara! THE OPTIONAL 10-FUNCTION HAND-HELD REMOTE CONTROL IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS SET. This set of 6 moving flame rechargeable LED votives comes with a charging base, and each votive measures 1.6-inches in diameter by 2.5-inches in height. The votives and charging base are made of smooth ivory-colored ABS plastic and won’t melt in the summer sun or crack in the winter cold. Each votive has a timer function that turns the votive “on” and “off” at the same time every day, and each votive also has a built-in receiver for use with the OPTIONAL 10-function hand-held remote control (NOT INCLUDED). A 2-position push button on the bottom of each votive turns it either “on” or “off”. A powerful Lithium-Ion battery in each votive provides 23 to 30 hours of burn time, and each votive can be fully charge in approximately 3 hours with the charging base. The charging base measures 6.3-inches in length by 4-inches in width by 0.71-inches in height. The AC adapter for the charging base is included.




Moving flame votives are the most realistic flameless votives on the market today and were originally developed for theme park attractions. The dancing moving flame is so realistic that it’s almost impossible to tell the difference from a real burning votive. The secret is a patented system of LEDs and electromagnetics. Each votive has an internal, highly focused LED light that shines upward through two opposing magnets, making the light move back and forth as it reaches the flameless wick. The result is a flameless light that dances and flickers before your eyes, and a flame effect that looks just like a real votive. Because there is no burning wick, there are no potentially harmful toxins that are emitted which makes these moving




Operation

When the button on the bottom of each votive is pushed in to the “on” position, the OPTIONAL 10-function hand-held remote control feature is active. The 0-function hand-held remote control (NOT INCLUDED) features the following functions: votive power on/off; votive timer modes: 2-hour, 4-hour, 6-hour, 8-hour; votive flicker on/off, votive brightness (+)/(-).




When the votive is in one of the timer modes, it will automatically turn “on” for the corresponding time and then turn “off” for the remaining time, e.g., if the votive is in the 6-hour timer mode, the votive will remain “on” for 6-hours from the time that the button is pushed on the OPTIONAL hand-held remote control (NOT INCLUDED), and then it will remain "off" for 18-hours. The votive will repeat the same daily cycle until the votive is turned "off" with the 2-position switch, or until the votive is put in another timer mode by pressing one of the timer mode buttons.




When the "Candle" MODE button is pressed on the OPTIONAL 10-function hand-held remote control (NOT INCLUDED), the LEDs in the votives will flicker and randomly vary in brightness to simulate an traditional flame candle. When the "Light" mode button is pressed, the LEDs in the votives will slightly flicker and vary in brightness only a slight amount. The brightness of the LEDs in the votives can be decreased by pressing the "-" DIM button on the remote 1 or more times. The moving flame action will also decrease in intensity when the "-" DIM button is pushed 1 or more times. Most people prefer the "Light" MODE of operation with the LEDs at maximum brightness. It is normal for the LEDs to slightly flicker when the votive is set to its maximum brightness value since this is part of the realistic moving flame effect.




A red LED in the charging base indicates that power is being supplied to the charging base by the supplied AC adapter. There are also red LEDs in the bottom of each votive indicating that the votive is charging. The red LEDs in each votive will turn off once that votive is fully charged.




Notes

If the votive begins to flicker, then the votive is almost completely discharged and needs to be placed in the charging base.

If the votive is extremely discharged, then it might take several minutes for it to begin working again after being placed in the charging base.

If the red LED on the bottom of the votive begins to flicker, then the votive is almost completely charged.

It is normal for the votive to flicker a little bit when the votive brightness is set to its maximum value. This is part of the realistic moving flame effect.

When one of the timer mode buttons (2-hour, 4-hour, 6-hour, 8-hour) is pushed on the OPTIONAL 10-function hand-held remote control (NOT INCLUDED), the votives will blink once indicating that they are now in one of the timer modes.
