This Luminara Moving Flame set of 2 tealights are birch wrapped and made of real ivory colored paraffin wax and feature 5-hour timers that can turn the tealights “on” and “off” at the same time every day. These tealights also have built-in receivers for the optional hand-held remote control (sold separately). A 3-position switch on the bottom of each tealight turns it either “on” or “off”, or puts it in the 5-hour timer mode. When each tealight is in the “timer” mode, it will automatically turn “on” for 5-hours and then turn “off” for 19-hours. Each tealight will remain “on” for 5-hours from the time that the 3-way switch is placed in the “timer” mode. Each tealight will repeat the same daily cycle until the timer is reset which is accomplished by sliding the 3-way switch to the “off” position and then back to the “timer” position at the desired “on” time. Since these tealights are constructed of real wax, they need to be kept away from heat sources and the direct sunlight, and you should keep them out of freezing temperatures since this might end up cracking the wax. They should also be kept away from rain and water. Since these tealights only measure 1.9-inches in diameter by 1.5 inches tall (2.5-inches to tip of flame), they can be easily placed in small tealight holders or other tight locations. Each tealight runs on a 2 x 3V, CR2450 lithium button cell batteries (included) and will last about 100-hours.
