Luminara candles are inspired by technology developed for commercial and entertainment applications, and are the most realistic flameless candles on the market today. The secret is a patented system of LEDs and electromagnetics. In each Luminara candle, an internal highly focused LED light shines upward through two opposing magnets, making the light move back and forth as it reaches the flameless wick. The result is a flameless light that dances and flickers before your eyes, and a flame effect that looks just like a real candle. Operation

A 3-position switch on the bottom of the candle turns it either “on” or “off”, or puts it in the 5-hour timer mode. When the switch is in the “on” position, the optional hand-held remote control feature is active. When the candle is in the “timer” mode, it will automatically turn “on” for 5-hours and then turn “off” for 19-hours. The candle will remain “on” for 5-hours from the time that the 3-way switch is placed in the “timer” mode. The candle will repeat the same daily cycle until the timer is reset which is accomplished by sliding the 3-way switch to the “off” position and then back to the “timer” position at the desired “on” time.
